In 2016, we decided that Canadian winters were a little too cold and the snow was a little too deep. Soon, we came to a turning point, buy new parkas, or buy a piece of sunny paradise 6129 kilometres south. So with the help of a few friends and family we decided to head south with our eyes set on Costa Rica, which happens to also be one of the Happiest Places on Earth according to National Geographic.
